EV Charging Stations

NEW! EV Charging Stations

Hopkinson House has four EV charging stations conveniently located in the parking garage. These charging stations are currently available to Monthly Parkers 24/7 on a pay-per-use basis. EV charging will be made available to all Residents as well as the general public in the first part of 2024.

Where do I purchase tickets for charging my EV?
An Individual ticket, or a book of 10 tickets may be purchased from the Parking Garage Management Office located in the lower lobby. Please see the Garage Manager, Paul Kelly, Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Tickets are available in two- or four-hour charging periods. Payment can be made by cash or check with check payments preferred.

How much does it cost?
A ticket for a two-hour charge is $3, and a ticket for a four-hour charge is $5.

Where do I park my EV?
Park your vehicle in the regular waiting area. Do not self-park your vehicle in the charging bay. The parking attendant (valet) will collect your ticket, park your vehicle and plug the EV in for charging.

Will the charging station work with my particular EV?
The Level 2 AC charging stations offer fast and efficient charging for both hybrid and full electric vehicles. You may require an adapter to charge your EV. Please be sure to have any adapters available for the valet staff.

How do I retrieve my EV?
Once the charging period has been completed, your vehicle will be relocated to a parking space within the garage. When you are ready to retrieve your EV, notify the parking attendant and they will retrieve your EV.

Can I schedule a charge ahead of time?
At present, charging your EV is on a first come, first served basis. The Association is reviewing the possibility of scheduled charging in the future.
